Stolen Tag Leads To Red Light Camera Tickets In Warrington

by Alex Lloyd Gross

The problem with photo enforced red light and speed cameras are they ticket the registered owner, not the person actually driving. That is what happened to a Lansdowne male who gave his car to a friend to sell. He was no longer in possession of the car but kept getting speed and red light camera tickets. He then reported the tag as stolen.

That tag was entered into police computer systems and it was flagged in Warrington Twp, Bucks County Pa on September 12, 2026. The male driving the car was stopped near Street and Easton Roads.

The operator was identified as 52-year-old Winlaw Muzirwa of Philadelphia. He was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Property. He was processed at the police station and will appear in court later this month. Police did not say if Muzirwa was the friend that was supposed to be selling the car.
