US Marshal’s staked out an apartment on the 9200 block of Blue Grass Road today. They were looking for 22 year old Robert Reynolds and they got him. He was brought into custody for the hit and run death of 16 year old Billy McWilliams back in July 2023.
McWilliams was riding a bike near Woodhaven and Byberry Roads, when a Dodge Charger hit him and kept going. The car was found a few days later near Princeton and Brous. It was allegedly stolen. Investigation showed that Reynolds was the driver.
Reynolds continued with his life, thinking he got away with it, until the US Marshal’s got him. At the time of the accident, the McWilliams family said they pleaded for the driver to turn themselves in and they bear no malice. Reynolds will face charges of leaving the scene of an accident and related offenses.
