As we head into August, with Summers end in sight, The United Way of Bucks County and Wells Fargo Bank partner up for #StufftheBus2019.
In 2018, Stuff the Bus donors and volunteers achieved a huge milestone by providing an incredible 3,378 kids in need with backpacks filled with school supplies!
The year sights are set on supplying 3500 backpacks filled with needed school supplies.
Organizers say 16 percent of children in Bucks County struggle to get their basic school needs met – such as school supplies, and the partnership wants that to change even though requests for backpacks are expected increase again.
The United Way will be collecting school supplies donations on August 12, 13, & 22 at their Fairless Hills location at 413 Hood Boulevard.
If you can’t attend the August event’s United Way has additional ways the community can help.
Presenting sponsor Wells Fargo and sponsors Bank of America, Bay Sales, BB&T, Comcast, Cummins Sales and Service – Bristol, Fairless Hills Fire Department, First National Bank and Trust Company of Newtown, PA, PECO, and Sesame Place.
