If you paid a lot of money for hand sanitizer it could be the wholesaler, Sun Wholesale Inc. was gouging consumers. They sold 389 units of “WISH” hand sanitizer for $17.00 per unit . The size of the product was 33.8 ounce bottle. That price is very high and it is price gouging.
Sun Wholesale Inc. entered into an agreement with the PA Attorney General where they have to pay $750.00 in civil penalties. They also have to pay $1878.87 in restitution and you could get your money back, if you prove that you purchased this product. A list of stores that were selling this product is as follows. Locastions of the stores encompass all areas of the city, from the Northeast to South Philly.

In order to be considered for restitution, consumers should file a consumer complaint form and attach a copy of their receipt showing they purchased the hand sanitizer between March 6, 2020, and September 10, 2020. Complaints must be submitted by November 9, 2020 to be considered.
Since the start of the public health emergency in Pennsylvania, my office has been working to stop price gouging wherever it happened. Ripping off people for hand sanitizer when they need it most is cynical and illegal,” Attorney General Shapiro said.
