Apparently, it was not enough to just look at girls in bikinis, police said that Rojer Gomez of Philadelphia was arrested over this past weekend for groping under age girls while they were swimming in the ocean. It was near the New Hampshire area of the beach when several girls reported that he touched them.
Police said that Gomez would wait for a wave to come close then swim near the girls. as the waves crashed, he would swim under water and touch their thighs and buttocks area. This was not a one time occurrence but a pattern of behavior. One 15 year old girl and two 16 year old girls reportedly were touched by Gomez.
The Beach Patrol detained him and turned in over to police. He has been taken to jail and charged with the following: Endangering the welfare of a child (three counts), aggravated criminal sexual contact, and criminal sexual contact (two counts).
Multiple witnesses came forward to tell police what they saw. Police think there may be more victims that have not yet come forward. Based on the investigation at the scene, the ACPD believes that there could be more victims.
