Warrington Police arrested yet another person for eating in a restaurant and skipping out on the check. This incident happened on June 2,2024 at about 9:21 PM. Police allege that Jason Elwell rode a bicycle to the KC Prime on Easton Road.
He entered , sat down at a table and police said he consumed a Budweiser, Prime Grade Porterhouse Steak, and a side of mashed potatoes. The server presented Elwell with the $121.60 check. Elwell then told the server that he was going to use the restroom.
He is accused of walking out the door and pedaling away on his bicycle. He was arrested while ri9ding his bike in Doylestown , shortly after police took his description. He has no fixed address.
He was charged with Theft of Services, and DUI.
Elwell was arraigned by Judge Baranoski who set bail at $10,000.00. Elwell was not able to post bail and was transported to Bucks County Correctional Facility.
