What Roads Are Closed For Philly Marathon?

If you are planning to go downtown this weekend, you should read this. The Philadelphia Marathon and Rothman 8k is going to take place. What follows is a list of the roads that are closed or detoured. You can also go to the Pennsylvania Convention Center for a free fitness expo.

Inside, you can learn about the latest gear for runners or learn how people keep fit. Some of the exhibitors there are giving out branded gear, like the Philly Love Run. They missed the mark and did not pay attention to marketing 101. People get to stand in line for a chance to spin a wheel for a price, like socks or maybe a t shirt. The problem is there is a “sorry” spot, where the person gets nothing. The line was long and people who waited upwards to 20 minutes for a spin feel as though they got ripped off. The objective is to put branded merchandise into the hands of the public, not give the public a negative feeling towards your brand. Better luck next time.
