Philadelphia police confirmed that two males were shot to death on the 4400 block of Solly Avenue, just before 4:30 AM today. They had been shot in the head. They were both zip-tied with their hands behind their backs.
Police are interviewing the girlfriend of one of the men. She is said to have brought them to that location. Robbery may be the motive, police said. One cell phone, belonging to one of the victims was found in the area.
Police said they are looking for a teal green minivan, occupied by two black males. Detectives are now combing through security footage and looking at license plate readers to track the vehicle. No arrests of the gunmen have been made. Police have not identified the males killed,pending notification of next of kin.
