Jeffrey Stevens Grubbs Has some explaining to do in court. According to Warrington Twp Police he walked into the Wal-Mart on September 17, 2026. He grabbed a scooter from the shelf and attempted to walk out of the store with it. A store associate told him he had to pay for it so Grubbs doubled back, into the store.
He went straight into the mens room with the scooter. Police were called and when an officer went into the mens room, Grubbs was inside, using a knife to remove the packaging and assemble the $221.34 scooter.
This was interrupted by police and he was placed in custody.He was processed and interviewed about the theft. During the interview, Grubbs stated that he did not have the money to purchase the scooter and knew while he was inside Walmart that the situation was going to “end bad.”
His charges include retail theft, When he was searched, police found a straw with residue on it. Grubbs is alleged to have confessed to police that the substance was indeed meth. He was released of $25,000 unsecured bail.
