Philly Police Look For Clues in Hate Crime Vandalism

Philadelphia Police are looking for clues to find out who is responsible for painting racist symbols in center city.  On Sunday, May 17, 2020, approximately 9:25am, Philadelphia Police officers responded to reports of vandalism along the 1900 through 2300 blocks of Market Street. Upon arrival, the officers observed the following:

The incidents are being investigated by Central Detective Division.

 

That area has a heavy concentration of security cameras. Detectives are looking for any and all footage that will show whoever did this. Several months ago politicians in the area met to denounce
this kind of activity. While some district attorney’s act more as public defenders, people were assured that people that do this will not be given breaks.
