
PennSTAR Medical Helicopter Forced To Make An Emergency Landing.

A PennSTAR medical helicopter was forced to make an emergency landing Monday evening on the front yard of a home near the intersection of Cannon Hill Road and Old Eagle Lane in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County, PA.
The incident occurred around 7:43pm May 19, 2025, when the aircraft had to land for unknown reasons Officials stated. First responders from local fire departments and emergency services quickly arrived on the scene. All three crew members were evaluated at the site and found to be uninjured.

The helicopter was not carrying any patients at the time of the emergency landing, and no injuries were reported on the ground.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has been notified and is expected to conduct a full investigation into the cause of the incident. The aircraft will remain at the emergency landing site until it is deemed safe to transport.
