
Tyler State Park Remains Closed As Search Continues For State Park Resources Ranger.
by Dan Doyle- ARTICLE UPDATE- Today, May 25, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m., the ranger’s body was recovered from the Neshaminy Creek. Officials confirmed the recovery and expressed their condolences to the ranger’s family, friends, and colleagues.
Officials from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) and the Pennsylvania State Police have confirmed that the missing kayaker in the Neshaminy Creek is a 38-year-old state park resource ranger. The incident began on Friday, May 23, 2025, around 12:15 p.m. when the ranger’s kayak capsized on the creek.
Multiple public safety agencies swiftly responded to the scene after receiving reports of a man struggling in the fast-moving waters. Emergency crews from throughout Bucks County, including specialized dive teams and fire companies, launched an extensive search effort.

Despite the intense search operations, the missing ranger has not yet been found. Public safety teams are expected to resume the search this morning. Meanwhile, Tyler State Park remains closed to the public until further notice.
