Philadelphia Police Seek Public’s Help To ID Pedestrian Struck By SUV

A woman is in critical condition after being struck by a car early Sunday morning in the Logan neighborhood, Philadelphia police said.

The incident occurred at approximately 1:15 a.m. on Sunday, May 18th, in the 4800 block of North Broad Street. According to the Philadelphia Police Department’s Crash Investigation Division, a 2007 Cadillac was traveling northbound when the female pedestrian, reportedly dressed in dark clothing, stepped into the vehicle’s path. The collision left the woman, who is believed to be between 40 and 50 years old, with severe injuries.

Philadelphia Fire Department medics transported her to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where she remains in critical condition.

The driver of the Cadillac stayed at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Police are working to identify the injured woman and are asking for the public’s help in determining her identity.
