A Philadelphia man has been sentenced to 3 to 6 years in state prison for a 2023 hit-and-run that killed a Bristol Township skateboarder. Tajair Anthony Delbridge, 26, also received 7 years of probation after pleading guilty to multiple charges, including accidents involving death, hindering apprehension, and tampering with evidence.
On November 24, 2023, Joel Moreau, 28, was riding his skateboard on Haines Road when he was struck and killed by a red Kia K5. Delbridge fled the scene, later abandoning the car and attempting to have it falsely reported stolen.

Emotional victim impact statements were delivered during sentencing, with Moreau’s family describing him as a kind and generous soul. “My heart is broken and will never be unbroken,” his father wrote.
Police linked Delbridge to the vehicle through witness testimony, surveillance footage, and rental records. Marijuana and paraphernalia were also found in the abandoned car.

The case was investigated by Bristol Township Police and the Bucks County Investigating Grand Jury, and prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Andrew Bukowski.
