Warminster Man Arrested In Connection To Meth Lab Fire After Year-Long Search

By Dan Doyle – July 7, 2025

Warminster, PA — A Warminster man who fled the scene of a suspicious house fire in May 2024 has been captured more than a year later and is now facing serious drug-related charges. On May 21, 2024, Warminster Township Police responded to a call at 785 Lillian Lane for a reported dwelling fire.

Officers arrived alongside firefighters to find the home filled with smoke and a strong odor of burnt plastic. During the investigation, residents informed officers that the disturbance had originated in the room of 35-year-old Jason Nunez. Witnesses reported hearing banging noises, followed by Nunez attempting to extinguish a fire before fleeing the area.

The Warminster Township Fire Marshal determined the fire likely resulted from a failed attempt at an illicit drug-making operation. Police secured a search warrant, and the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) Clandestine Meth Lab Team was called to assist. Their subsequent report confirmed that materials and ingredients commonly used to manufacture methamphetamine using the “one-pot” method were present at the scene.

Based on this evidence, an arrest warrant for Nunez was issued on October 28, 2024, by the Honorable Chris O’Neill. However, Nunez remained on the run until June 16, 2025, when members of the United States Marshals Violent Fugitive Task Force located him at a residence in Philadelphia. Nunez was returned to Bucks County and arraigned by Judge O’Neill. He is currently being held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility on 10% of $75,000 bail.

Authorities credit interagency cooperation for the apprehension of Nunez and emphasize that the case underscores the dangers of clandestine drug labs, which pose significant risks to public safety and first responders. The investigation remains ongoing.

Note: Criminal charges, and any reporting thereof, are merely allegations and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.

Find out if this creep, Jason Nunez, is involved with any drug-related illegal imigrants too.
    And deal with him appropriately.
