WARRINGTON, PA — A Warrington Township man is facing multiple felony charges after police say he brutally assaulted a 61-year-old victim during an early morning altercation on Mustang Road.
Warrington Township Police were called to the 800 block of Mustang Road around 4:30 am, August 6, 2025, following a report of an assault. When officers arrived, they found the victim suffering from extensive facial trauma and other injuries. Authorities say the man’s face was covered in blood and he required immediate medical attention. He was transported to a local hospital by Warrington Ambulance for treatment of multiple facial injuries, lacerations, and a hip injury.

An investigation quickly identified 40-year-old Timothy Joseph Campbell, also of Warrington, as the alleged assailant. Police say Campbell arrived at the home in an attempt to retrieve a key to a relative’s residence following a domestic dispute. He reportedly woke the victim, pulled him outside, and launched a violent physical attack.

According to police, Campbell punched the victim in the face with a closed fist, struck him repeatedly with his elbows, and threw him to the ground during the assault.
Following the incident, Campbell was taken into custody and brought to the Warrington Township Police Department for processing. Authorities say he made unsolicited and incriminating statements referencing the attack while in custody.
Campbell was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Stacy Wertman on charges that include Aggravated Assault (F1) and five additional offenses. Bail was set at $1,000,000, with a 10% cash option. He was unable to post bail and is currently being held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
Police have not released further information on the condition of the victim, but the investigation remains ongoing.
