Falls Baby Homicide Suspect Charged in Bucks Co.

A man charged with killing a toddler last year in Falls Township is jailed in Bucks County following his return from Florida a press release from the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office announced Friday.

Shawn Robert Felmey, 45, of Morrisville, was arraigned Thursday by video on counts of criminal homicide and endangering the welfare of children, the release says.

District Judge Jan Vislosky ordered the man be held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility without bail, the release says.

Felmey is suspected in the December 18, 2018  death of a 22-month-old boy, who was found dead of inflicted head trauma inside an apartment at the Commons at Fallsington.

Felmey was arrested May 15 in Melbourne, Florida, and was returned Thursday to Bucks County in the custody of authorities, The DA’s office says.

The case was investigated by Falls Township Police and Bucks County Detectives, and is being prosecuted by Deputy District Attorney Kate Kohler.

Flemley is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on June 11.
