Morrisville Night Out Fundraiser Set for DQ Wednesday Night

A local Dairy Queen will donate a portion of Wednesday nights sales proceeds to support a community event seeking to solidify relationships between community and police department’s nationally. .
Each summer for the past several years ,Morrisville Town Watch has produced Night Out held nationally in over 16,000 communities in the country and as part of the event set for Tuesday August 6th at Williamson Park, The Dairy Queen located at 5 South Delmar Avenue will donate a percentage of sales to the Morrisville Borough Neighborhood Watch to pay for production costs.
This years night out event will benefit the Morrisville Volunteer Fire Company
National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides a great opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances. The state of Texas and select areas celebrate the first Tuesday in October.
According to town watch officials. about $10 K has been raised to support Morrisville based first responders.
You can help the cause by volunteering, donating, setting up a table for your community group or small business, supporting our fundraisers, spreading the word or simply by eating ice cream this Weds at Dairy Queen.
