Armed Robber Steals McDonald’s Cash Register In Early AM Theft

People that work at fast food places like McDonald’s are doing so to earn money to live. They want to go to work, serve customers and then go home. That did not happen during the early morning hours of November 4, 2022. An SUV occupied by four people including the driver pulled up to the McDonald’s at 4163 Whittaker Ave. The store was open and they went to the drive through and ordered food.
When they got to the window, the driver pulled his vehicle to the window with enough space to open the door. Instead of paying, he pulled a gun and demanded money. Not wanting to get into a confrontation the cashier backed away while the thief reached in and started to yank at the cash register. The video shows he got delayed by a cord. Still, he keeps yanking and eventually gets the till into the vehicle and drives off in an unknown direction.
