Father Smashes 15 Year Old Daughter In Head With Bottle At Bensalem Motel

Bensalem Police are looking to arrest Juan Vega Figueroa of East 9th Street in Chester. Police allege that he got into an argument with his 15 year old daughter while Figueroa and three of his children were staying at the Red Roof Inn on Street Road on June 12 at about 9:30 PM. Figueroa is said to have lost his temper and smashed a beer bottle over the head of his 15 year old daughter. He then fled the hotel and has not been seen since.
Police took custody of the children and turned them over to the Children and Youth advocates. They were able to get in touch with the children’s grandmother who has custody of them.
Police went into the motel room, they observed numerous baggies of a white powdery substance and an extended semi-automatic handgun magazine that was loaded with live rounds. A search warrant was obtained for the room. Police seized a total of 110 baggies of suspected Fentanyl from the hotel room along with an extended Glock magazine that was loaded with 10 live rounds with additional rounds nearby.
