Bucks County Music Teacher Arrested For Over 2000 Child Porn Photos
“I am sick and I have a problem” Those words came out of the mouth of Christopher Bygott of Hamilton NJ when he was interviewed by detectives regarding his possession of child porn. The investigation started when police were tipped off as Bygott allegedly uploaded files of children engaged in sex acts to an outside server.
Bygott was a music teacher for the Pennsbury School District. The police interview took place inside the Pennsbury High School East campus on Hood Boulevard. When asked how many photos and or videos he had, police asked him for a number. 10, 100, or 500 images, Bygott is said to have said that he had more than those numbers on his phone, which was with him inside the school.
Bybott was interviewed on December 13,2023. He was arrested shortly after. When police searched his found they did in fact find over 2000 files containing photos or videos. Some were prepubescent girls engaged in sex acts. Other photos showed toddlers doing unspeakable acts with others.
He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Jan Vislosky and was released on $250,000 unsecured bail, with the conditions that he have no contact with any minors, have no internet usage and surrender his passport.. Charges include child porn and Criminal Use of A Communication Device.. Police did not say if any of the photos he took were of students he taught.
