It’s never a good idea to point a gun at police. That fact did not register with 21 year old Benjamin Fell, of Middletown. He is lucky to be alive. He will be in prison for 11 1/2 to23 months in the Bucks County Prison. He entered a guilty plea last week to two counts of felony aggravated assault and felony fleeing and eluding police. He also pleaded guilty to possession of an instrument of crime and reckless driving.

It was back on March 28,2023 that police in Falls Township tried to stop Fell for speeding and reckless driving on Lincoln Highway. . He stopped for the officer, then took off again. Then he stopped. He did not listen to commands to stay in his vehicle and got out with a gun, pointed it at police, who fired on him.

Fell then drove off again with police in pursuit. that topped speeds of more than 100 miles per hour. The officers stopped him at New Ford Mill Road and Steel Road West, more than four miles from where the pursuit began. Seconds after stopping, Fell got out of the vehicle and pointed the gun at the officers who fired and struck Fell. After Fell was shot, police secured the firearm and rendered aid on the male until paramedics arrived. He was transported to a hospital, where he underwent surgery for his injuries, police said.

The gun was a CO 2 gun, make to look like a real gun. Police said they could not tell the difference in a controlled situation. The shooting was ruled justified.

  1. Back when I was in my 20’s, early 30s, I never gave police any grief, I did what they told me to do, and moved on.
But these creeps today think they are some kind of self-made heros.
    Yeah, ok… self-made idiots.

I guess that “dumbing down of America” has succeeded in younger society.
