Thousands of people lost power yesterday, after a fierce thunderstorm rolled through. It was not a tornado but it did have strong winds. Some people called it a microburst. Within minutes, sheets of rain fell down and flooded streets that normally do not even see puddles. Some roads were almost impassable.
