Two Males Wanted For Kohl’s Perfume Theft

by Alex Lloyd Gross

It looks easy. Just walk into the store and steal. Until a few months later when you have forgotten about the theft and you get a jarring reminder, by means of an arrest warrant. Police have found you. That scenario is exactly what Bensalem Police want to happen to these two Hispanic males.

They went to Kohl’s in Bensalem to steal. They concealed almost $1000,00 in cologne and perfume and left the store without paying. However, they were caught on camera. Now police want to find out who they are so they can catch them in real life. They even looked right at the camera.

This theft happened June 16, 2024, about 3:30 PM according to Bensalem Police. They left in a light colored SUV or van. If you know them you are asked to call (215) 633-3719.

  1. With ALL the “Big Brother” security cameras that have infiltrated society these days, it’s clear that some people simply don’t care about being “caught on video”.
In my opinion, the “system” isn’t effective as a deterrent towards these crooks.
Because it’s only effective After The Fact, not During The Act.
This then generates articles such as this one, with the same line – “If you know who this individual(s) are… call 911”
The “fix” for this is to employ more Police/Security at the locations – creating jobs in the process.
Whoever mans or watches these cameras needs to be trained, with full-time eyes on the camera(s) – and radio communication with the store security to catch and stop the thefts immediately.
Because the current system has inherent Weak Spots that allow crooks to get away with this.
