On June 13, 2024, at 7:17 PM, a man who lived on the 1100 block of Welsh Road got a phone call from his neighbor. The homeowner was not at home but was seeing activity on his security camera and asked his neighbor to check it out.

When the male arrived, he saw a silver car in the driveway with a female, later identified as Lauren Mazure at a keypad, allegedly punching in numbers to get into the house. He approached her and informed her that she did not have permission to be at the house. Instead of leaving, she got into an argument with the man, police said.

The male she was with, identified as Lowell Schade , was able to get her back into the car. The neighbor pulled out his phone and started to take photos of the car, it’s license plate and Lauren Mazure who was in the passenger seat.. There is no expectation of privacy and the neighbor did not need any permission to take the photos.

Mazure, is alleged to have grabbed the man’s phone by force and the two drove to the end of the driveway, police said. Due to heavy traffic, the car was not able to leave quickly and the male was able use that to snatch his phone back from Mazure, before they left, police said.

Both Schade and Mazure have been charged with robbery theft and disorderly conduct
