Amazon Driver Fires Shots At Camp Counselor In South Philadelphia

Philadelphia Police have arrested an Amazon delivery driver after he allegedly got into a dispute with a children’s camp counselor on the 900 block of South 17th St. According to police reports, Terrel Hall-Williams a 28-years-old from 45XX block of North Bouvier Street was working, delivering packages and when he was in front of the YMCA, he was asked by a camp counselor to move his van.

An argument ensured and police said the argument turned physical. Within minutes. Hall-Williams went back to the Amazon truck and got a handgun. He began to fire gunshots towards the victim, but no one was struck by bullets, police said.

Hall-Williams was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, Reckless Endangering and related charges. Amazon does not permit their driver to carry firearms on their trucks. Police said the incident happened on July 17, 2024 about 3:00PM.
