  1. The preponderance of Section 8 properties, mostly owned by landlords who live in NYC, has been a total disaster for Northeast Philadelphia.

    1. Indeed you’re right.
The renters living in what was originally-owned and lived in by homeowners is a nagging problem that we, as respectable homeowners, now have to deal with.
The trash left laying loose to litter our streets and properties is annoying, to say the least.
We never had these new problems before in the Northeast.
One landlord near me – I put a call out to my local authority/lawyer because this landlord lives in Ohio – and took in a bunch of slobs that don’t care about other neighbors.
dog-droppings littering the block, weeds growing, and to top it all off, this landlord applied for a Homestead Exemption! – which has now been removed thanks to the investigations of the property.

Yeah, sure, welcome that lovely thing Obongo passed called “Diversity”.
