Pedestrian Struck On Torresdale Avenue

A 46 year old female is in critical condition, after she was struck by a car early this morning, about 3:00 AM. The crash happened at the intersection of Torresdale Avenue and Howell Street, in Northeast Philadelphia.
Police said the car, a BMW had a steady green light, when the woman stepped from the curb and walked in front of the car. She was rushed to Jefferson Hospital, Torresdale Division in critical condition. The driver and the BMW remained on the scene.
