Serious Crash Closed Route 13 Bridge In Croydon

A serious three vehicle crash in the northbound lanes of Bristol Pike caused Route 13 to be closed in both directions right at evening rush hour. None of the injuries was life threatening, officials said. All of the vehicle were traveling north, when traffic slowed and one car rear ended another. That impact pushed the middle car into an SUV.
Two medic units were called. It is unknown how many people were transported. Due to apparatus placement, both north and south lanes were temporarily closed. Drivers traveling into Croydon from Bensalem were forced to detour along Haunted Lane.
No charges will be filed, (if any) until the investigation is completed, police said..
