State Rep Tina Davis Hosts Senior Expo

Tina Davis is a State Representative that encompasses the Bristol area. Earlier today, she held a Senior Expo at the Bristol Township Senior Center. This well attended event had many exhibitors that had crucial information for attendees.
Everything from hospice care to help with wills and estates. Jefferson Health was on hand, as was Independence Blue Cross to talk about health insurance and medicare. State agencies like the Banking and Insurance Departments were there to educate people on scams. Tomorrow, September 6, 2024 a representative from the Pennsylvania Attorney General’s Office will be there at 10:00 AM to teach about scams. It’s free to attend.
Representative Davis said she was working on this event for a long time, getting vendors to show up and Davis admitted that she took part of the day yesterday to move tables and personally worked on the senior expo.
According to Bristol Township Fire Marshal Kevin Dippolitto, the one thing not only seniors but most people lack is a supply of food or a way to keep food should there be a prolonged power outage. He also gave electrical safety tips to prevent fires.
