Career Link Bus Makes Stop In Trevose

Good news for people looking for a new job or new career. A mobile bus made it’s appearance at the Career Link location on the 4800 block of Street Road earlier this week. This vehicle is equipped with a handicapped lift to get disabled job seekers into the bus. Once they are inside, they will find
Equipped with 12 seats, a TV screen, laptops, and chargers, the vehicle offers services such as résumé writing, interview preparation, job search assistance, and recruitment events.

Pennsylvania Secretary Of Labor Nancy Walker was on hand to speak to job seekers after a brief photo op. While the bus was parked outside, helping people fine tune their resume, there was a job fair inside the Career Link location. From law enforcement to health care , potential employers were waiting to hire new people.

This bus will be dispatched to events, libraries and this vehicle can meet individuals in their communities so that when people go to a job fair they are better prepared.

  • Job search and training assistance
  • Adult education classes and workshops
  • Career fairs
  • Referral services to partners
