Couple Busted For Unusual Theft At Wegmans In Warrington

Warrington Township Police have charged two Philadelphia residents, Michael Coleman and Elizabeth Marie Gowan with theft and narcotics possession after the couple was caught stealing food at Wegmans Supermarket on August 22 , 2024.

Police said the pair walked in and selected food. As they walked around the store, they made their way to the cafe and ate some of the food, police said. They then allegedly concealed what was not eaten and walked out of the store without paying for anything.

Police were called and both were arrested . Upon a search, police said they had narcotics and paraphernalia on them. Police said both were processed and released at the police station.

    Ok, so they got “the munchies” and decides to help themselves.
    Being stoned and hungry will do that to a person.

    I swear, sometimes I feel like I’m living in The Twilight Zone, and can’t change the damn channel.
    Druggies, all kinds of cellphone Zombies walking around, students bashing teachers, gun violence, 98 year old ladies being raped, you name it.
    This world is nuts!
