Levittown House Destroyed By Fire

A single family house in the Snowball Gate section of Middletown Township. was destroyed by a fast moving fire. The house was near the intersection of Spring Valley and Silver Spruce Roads.
Emergency Responders said that the pets that were in the house were saved. A loud bang was heard in the neighborhood , followed by the house being engulfed in flames. Multiple PECO trucks were on scene disconnecting the power to the dwelling.
Multiple fire hoses were stretched throughout the area which resulted in many roads in the development being shut down.
A cause had yet to be determined. Firefighters spent several hours overhauling the scene. The fire was reported about 7:30PM.
