Auto Vs. Pedestrian Accident Closes Street Road In Bensalem

Motorists traveling on Street Road on the 3500 block towards I-95 were diverted last night for the better part of an hour, after a pedestrian was hit by a car. The driver pulled into a parking lot and cooperated with police.
The pedestrian sustained serious but not life threatening injuries. It is unknown what lane of Street Road the pedestrian was in when he was struck. The driver of the car was not injured.
The crash happened about 7:45 PM and Street Road was closed for at least an hour..
