Truck and Car Collide On Roosevelt Blvd

One female driver was seriously hurt when her car collided with a work truck on the Roosevelt Boulevard and Southampton Roads yesterday about 11:00 AM. The driver of the truck was unhurt.
Authorities said that the driver of the car apparently tried to turn in front of the truck. The northbound lanes ( inner) of the Blvd were closed at Hornig Road. Cars kept going into the northbound lanes by using the cross over, until that was closed as well.
It took about an hour for the road to be re opened after the vehicles were towed.
