Male Tossed From Holme Avenue Bar, Returns With Gun

A 32 year old male was arrested after he allegedly returned to Penny’s Garden Tavern after he was asked to leave early this morning about 2:30 AM. It is unknown if he was in an altercation or if the male was just refusing to leave at closing time.
He did leave but returned and slapped a 52 year old female employee. After doing this, he pulled a pistol and fired two shots before being subdued by others inside the bar. He was held for police who recovered the gun and made an arrest. There were no injuries.
Police said the male has not been formally charged, he is still being processed. When charges are filed, they will release his name and mugshot along with what he is charged with.
