Tragedy Averted In Bustleton Ave Crash

by Alex Lloyd Gross

One person was hurt this evening just before 7:00 PM during a two vehicle crash on Bustleton Avenue. The vehicle occupied by a driver and no passengers was north on Bustleton Ave. on the 9100 block when he hit a parked car, bounced off of the car and flipped over.

The parked car was seconds away from having children in it, but the family went to look for a jacket for one of the children, which made the car empty at the time of the crash. The driver of the striking vehicle sustained serious but not life threatening injuries.

This accident is a half block away from a serious crash that happened about a week ago. Had the parked car not been there, the other vehicle would have struck a tree.

    Thankfully, nobody was killed…. but…
What is with drivers these days?
The news about vehicle accidents and crashes are as common as violent crimes, almost a daily happening.
I swear, people are nuts anymore.
