College Bookstore Robbed By Armed Gunman In Parkwood

The manager of Philadelphia Community College Bookstore was robbed yesterday evening. Police said he closed up the shop, located on the 12000 block Of Townsend Rd, on the campus of the college. The suspect entered and pulled a gun, police said.

The incident happened just before 6:00 PM yesterday. The manager got some tape and tied up the manager, before escaping with about $3000.00 in cash.

The school has an extensive camera system and police are looking to find more security footage as well as examine license plate readers in hopes of finding a suspect. The robber was described as a male wearing a hoodie and jeans. No security footage was released as of press time.
