Video Released Of Bustleton Ave Hit and Run Suspect

Philadelphia Police have released a video showing the driver and vehicle that struck a pedestrian on Bustleton Ave, near Stanwood Street. This happened October 8,2024 and the video was just released today.

In the video you can see a cockeyed parked Honda Civic with a rust spot on the trunk. The driver, a white male with a red hoodie and dark pants . This male bends over and drags the victim from the street to the curb area but leaves before police arrive. The victim sustained a serious brain injury. The male is on his cellphone but was not calling 911. It is unknown if he was on the phone at the time of the impact. The tag on the vehicle is a temp tag that is unusable to police.

The crash happened about 8:44 AM. The video looks like it was dash cam from a bus. If you see this suspect do not approach, contact 911 immediately.
