It’s unknown who threw the party, was it the Eagles or the fans, but a party was had at Lincoln Financial Field today to bid the Philadelphia Eagles a fond farewell and wish them nothing but good luck when they take on the Kansas City Chief’s in the Super Bowl on February 9, 2025. The game will be played in New Orleans.

About 3000 people showed up and bought their limited edition tickets to get the entry into the stadium. This was not going to be like an Eagles game. Fans could hang out on the field and stand, watching Swoop, the Eagles Drum Line and check out Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders. All while watching the jumbo tron, hoping the cameraman will put them on for a few seconds.

DJ Diamond Kuts was playing records and Eagles highlights were broadcast on the jumbo tron from some key games this past season. For some, was like watching the game all over again, even through the outcome was guaranteed.

People there wanted to see the team. After an hour plus of music and highlights, people were getting restless. Finally, it happened. The team emerged and .slapped hands with fans lined up down front. Little kids were in their glory and older fans were over the moon as well.

“Get ready for a parade down Broad Street,” Brandon Graham, Eagles defensive end said to the crowd. There were no long speeches. Some team members showed up, got the crowd pumped up and then the team left. left. They were on stage for less than five minutes.

The crowd reaction to the event was even, they wanted less Diamond Kuts and more Eagles. They like the drum line and wished they would have played longer. They wanted the Eagles on stage for a bit longer but they were happy with what they got. There will be more speeches on Broad Street after the Eagles take care of business. Tickets to this event were only $10.00 and the money went to Eagles Charities. Eagles Hype man Gillie closed out the event.
