
Temple Student Arrested For Impersonating ICE Agent

Aidan Steigelmann and his friends allegedly thought it would be a good idea to impersonate ICE agents in North Philadelphia. On February 1, 2025, at 9:35 p.m. Temple Police were called to Johnson & Hardwick Residence Hall for suspicious males identifying themselves as Police/ICE agents, in the 22nd District. They told the security guard they were police and entered the hall under false pretenses, police said.They left in a white Jaguar prior to police arrival.

A short while later, the three males went to Insomnia Cookies nearby and did the same thing, police said. Officers canvassed the area and found Steigelmann He was arrested and charged with impersonating a public servant.. The other two suspects left the area in a light-colored SUV. Police found him on the 1700 block of North 12th Street. Police towed the Jaguar SUV that the males drove away in The investigation is active and ongoing with Central Detectives.

Suspects: black male and white male wearing black shirts with “Police” on the front and “ICE” on the back. Steiglemann is facing disciplinary action from Temple University as well. It is unknown if he is cooperating with police to give up his friends.
