Bristol Township Male Pleads Guilty To Illegally Recording Teenage Girls
by Alex Lloyd Gross
John Dutton, 55, shared a residence with a woman who had two daughters and a son. The woman thought it was strange and suspicious that Dutton refused to allow them to have a shower curtain in a common bathroom. According to the woman, Dutton wanted either a clear shower curtain or no curtain at all.

When she looked inside the bathroom, she found a USB charging device with a spy camera inside, pointing towards the shower. She unplugged it but left it in the bathroom, police said. Dutton then went into the bathroom, stayed there for a while and left with the device.
Police were called and found another spy camera near the cabana for a pool. In November 2023, Bristol police executed a search warrant on the home. They seized the defendant’s cell phone, where they uncovered videos of the girls that showed them undressing and showering in the bathroom. The date range for these videos was February 2021 to March 2023.
Police also located methamphetamine in the house during the search. Another search warrant was executed on an iCloud account associated with Dutton’s other devices. Police located 261 audio and video recordings of the two girls in partial or full nudity in the bathroom, recorded between 2021 and 2023.

Dutton entered guilty pleas yesterday to six counts of invasion of privacy, two counts of interception of oral communications, and one count of possession of a controlled substance. He will be sentenced at a later date.
