Bensalem Police Look For Fugitive After Car Stop
When police stopped Malique Davis, 29, of Oakland Street, Philadelphia, his vehicle had no inspection stickers, there was heavy tint on the windows and he gave evasive answers to police. His license plate also had a dark cover to help avoid cameras. A drug dog was called and alerted to something. Police took his information and released him from the scene, police said.

His car was towed and a search warrant issued, to find out what, if anything was in the car. Police recovered a loaded black Glock 17 semi-automatic handgun that was hidden behind the window control switch panel of the driver’s side door.

The firearm was checked through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) and had been reported stolen. A check of Malique Davis’s criminal history revealed that he was precluded from possessing a firearm by law. Malique Davis was charged with Persons Not to Possess a Firearm, Carrying a Firearm Without a License, Receiving Stolen Property, and traffic offenses. An ARREST WARRANT was issued for Malique Davis. He was contacted and refused to turn himself in on the active warrant.
