Two Charged With Murder For Hire Plot From Montgomery County Prison
by Alex Lloyd Gross
Zunir Wilson-Walker, 22, an inmate at the Montgomery County Correction Facility and Jadan Uriah Jones, 20, of Norristown, have just been charged with allegedly trying to hire someone to kill Wilson-Walker’s ex girlfriend.
Apparently, Wilson-Walker had his telephone privileges suspended inside the prison. That did not stop him as he is accused of using another inmate’s account, officials said. All calls by inmates are recorded and guards were listening to one of them when they heard of a plan being formulated. Police were then called.
Each inmate in the prison is given a tablet. That tablet can be used to send emails and Wilson-Walker did just that, as authorities allege he sent eight threatening messages to the same woman, who had a protective order against him. His tablet was taken from him, authorities said.

In November, Wilson-Walker asked Jones to create an Instagram story to hat offered $15,000, a Cartier watch and a car as payment for beating up and killing the mother of his child. Wilson-Walker specifically asked Jones to create an Instagram “story” as opposed to a post so it was only visible for 24 hours and not likely to attract law enforcement attention.
During a call that same day at approximately 2:08 p.m., the inmate provided Jones with the name “walkdownmontt” to use to the create the fake Instagram account. Detectives filed a search warrant with Instagram (Meta, Inc.) for the records related to the “walkdownmontt” account and found that it was created on at 2:18p.m. Nov. 9, 2024—just 10 minutes after Wilson-Walker provided the account name
to Jones. The warrant also showed that the account was associated with Jone’s cellphone number.
The “stories”included numerous derogatory comments about Wilson-Walker’s former girlfriend, as
well as a location where she would be at a specific date and time, a description of her car, her home address and other identifying information. The eight posts also offered the $15,000 payment, jewelry and car for her to “get took off the map.”.

Both Wilson-Walker and Jones are charged with Criminal Solicitation of Murder of the First-Degree, Conspiracy to Murder of the First-Degree and Criminal Use of a Communications Facility. Wilson-Walker is also charged with Terroristic Threats, Stalking, Simple Assault, Strangulation and other charges related to the victim.
Inmate Wilson-Walker was arraigned on these new charges Jan. 28, 2025, by Magisterial District Judge Henry J. Schireson, who set bail at $500,077 cash. Wilson-Walker remains at the Montgomery County Correctional Facility. A preliminary hearing for Wilson-Walker is scheduled for 11 a.m., Feb. 11, 2025, .
