Pedestrian Struck On Knights Road

Emergency responders were called to Knights and Woodhaven Roads last night about 7:30PM. The driver of the car was south on Knights and told police he was at a red light, about to make a right turn onto Woodhaven Road, when the pedestrian was struck.
The car was moving slow and had no viable damage . The pedestrian still went over the hood of the car and susptained serious injuries, police said. The entrance to Woodhaven Road westbound was closed for a short time until the scene could be clear.
