Two Different Fatal Shootings Last Night In Logan



On Wednesday, March 12th, 2025, at approximately 5:58 p.m., 35th District officers responded to a radio call reporting a “Person with a Gun” at 1000 Wagner Avenue in the rear driveway. Upon arrival, they discovered two shooting victims. The first, a 22-year-old white male, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body, while the second, a 19-year-old black male, had also been shot numerous times. Police transported both victims to Jefferson Einstein Hospital, where the 22-year-old was pronounced dead at 6:44 p.m., and the 19-year-old was listed in stable condition. The identity of the deceased victim has not been released, pending family notification. No arrests have been made, and the motive remains unclear as the Homicide Unit continues to investigate.

Later that evening, at 6:32 p.m., 35th District officers responded to another radio call for a “Person with a Gun” at 4800 N. 11th Street. Upon arrival, they found a crime scene with five fired cartridge casings on the highway. Officers were informed that a gunshot victim had been transported to Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia Hospital by a private vehicle.

The victim, identified as 23-year-old Rymir Pace from the 1300 block of West Wyoming Avenue, had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at 6:56 p.m. No arrests have been made in this case, and the investigation remains ongoing with the Homicide Unit.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in these cases.
