On March 13, 2025, police were called about two males cutting down Verizon wires in the area of Bristol Road. Apparently, they were using a chain to help them steal the wire, police said. They were in a Toyota Pick-Up truck. When police got to the area, the males were gone.

Within a few minutes, the truck was spotted on Bristol Road. When police tried to stop the vehicle, it fled. The driver thought he was slick and parked it behind a nearby house. It did not work as police found the truck quickly. The driver, Randy Fluck said that the passenger was his friend and ran because he was wanted. He refused to give the police the name of his friend who bailed.

Police set up a perimeter and called in a dog. According to court papers, the second male did not want to cooperate and a foot chase began. He wound up being tazed by police and arrested. This male was identified as Dennis Disantis. According to court records, he refused to cooperate with the booking process.

He was taken to the hospital for his tazer incident. He was then identified by witnesses as one of the males who was stealing the wire. Fluck was identified as the other. One of the witnesses is an off duty police officer.

Police found about 1500 feet of wire that had been damaged. DiSantis is in jail under $50,000 after he could not make his $100,000 bail, it was cut in half. He is charged with theft, running from police, disruption of services.

Fluck posted 10 percent of his $75,000 bail. He faces the same charges except running from the police. Both males are from Levittown police said. Both males are being looked at for similar thefts in other townships.

This incident is one of many recent incidents of copper wire thefts. One male electrocuted himself and in another, unrelated theft, the World Portal was damaged by copper theft.
