Child Struck By Car On Torresdale Ave.

An 11 year old girl was struck by a vehicle and seriously injured when she ran out between parked vehicles onto Torrsdale Ave., near Fraley Street, The accident happened today at 8:07 AM, police said.
Philadelphia Police said that her injuries were enough to put her in the hospital in critical condition. She was rushed to St. Christopher’s Hospital by medics. The driver of the car, a Kia Sorrento remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation, police said.
The driver of the car, a 33 year old female was heading north on Torresdale Avenue when the crash happened. Torresdale Avenue was closed in the area for the investigation,
