Steve Postell Brings CSNY Band To Sellersville Theater This Month

If you like the music of Crosby Stills Nash (and Young) you will like the band called Our House. This is not a cover band of guys that got together to sing. It’s not a tribute act made up of unknowns. Postell was scheduled to play with David Crosby on his upcoming tour, before his untimely death.

Postell is an accomplished musician with seven albums out. His most recent one, called Walking Through These Blues came out last month. “We have to take care of ourselves on tour, that means getting sleep, eating right”, he said during a brief interview to promote the show. A lot of people do not buy records or CD’s anymore. when asked about that, his response was ” I like to evolve in current culture and situations”.
That includes social media. He is honest about social media. He has a team that does most of his posting. “If I can answer something, I will, but the biggest resource is time.. Is my time better spent making music or social media? Postell asked.
Postell also produces music. “I’ve learned not to be to dependent on outside talent, I’ve been lucky. When I make a new record, I am not trying to re-invent the wheel,” Postell Explains. “I try to stay true to the traditions that inspired me, creating honest, real music, telling real stories, played by real musicians. “And this goal was certainly obtained with the exceptional ‘Walking Through These Blues.’
The Our House show at Sellersville will show off his talents and pay homage to his late friend David Crosby. “We were very good friends, as well as his touring band. I was supposed to go out on tour with him. We will be doing those songs during these shows,” Postell said.
After the 20 city tour of our house, Postell may tour again with his own band, to promote songs from his newest record.
