Male Wanted For Shooting At Germantown Playground

Philadelphia Police have identified Anthony T. Smith as the person who shot an 18 year old male in the chest twice. Police said this happened at the Lonnie Young Playground, located at 1100 E. Chelten Avenue. on April 1,2025.
A weapon was recovered from the scene, along with eleven 9mm shell casings. The investigation is active and ongoing with the Shooting Investigation Group. Police also were able to secure security camera footage from the area.
Smith now has an arrest warrant out for him. He is 23 years old. Police have not been able to locate him ad are asking for help finding him. The victim is in critical condition.
